One Story at a Time.
This generation is growing alongside not only peers from different religions, but also various new ideologies that have taken their place within our society. Guidance lies with Allah (SWT), we aim to do our part by teaching them the meaningful lessons extracted from the stories in the Quran in a simplified & informal manner to help develop within them a love for Deen.
Uhud Academy's core mission is to provide each student with enduring Islamic values and a solid knowledge about the world they inhabit. Through meaningful curricular experiences, we hope to foster personal growth and make Islamic education a lifelong pursuit. To learn more about our mission, values and educational programs, get in touch today.
At Uhud, we make it a priority to provide a well-rounded religious education infused with the teachings of the Quran & Sunnah.
Our goal is to help students develop a rich spiritual identity, and move on to become self-confident and driven adults with an eternal thirst for knowledge and understanding of Islam.
We are not a Hifz School, nor do we teach Arabic. Through small lectures and stories, told in simplified English language, we aim to appeal to the innate nature (fitrah) of each student to help them find not only a better understanding of our Deen, but a new love of Islam.
Interactive lectures presented in simplified English to capture and maintain not just the attention, but also the curiosity of our students.

Not in a traditional sense. We are not a Hifz School, nor do we teach Arabic. Once a week Storytime should be enough for your child to gain knowledge and process the story and its lessons. Every subsequent class starts with answering questions the curious minds may have from previous lesson.
The lectures are simplified and present in a story/lecture format, they are sometimes made interactive for student participation as well. The ideal target audience would be ages 6 to 13. If your child is out of this range - you are more than welcome to try it out for a class or two.
We try and limit our classes to maximum of 12 students.
